Electricity and Democracy
Mi Sein Tin: Hay… Mi Chaw, your city, Bagu is very enjoyable place.
Mi Chaw: Here is not much enjoyable place as Rangoon. We can’t even watch the Korea movie to get relief from boredom because the electricity is not coming regularly.
Mi Sein Tin: Hay, Look at Korea! The electricity is so bright as daylight. I miss Rangoon whenever I see these places with full of lights.
Mi Chaw: Oh! Just like Rangoon?
Mi Sein Tin: Hahahaaa….. Like Rangoon?? In our place we are forced to pay electricity bills every month, but we can’t get electricity regularly. So, we are just using candle light.
Mi Chaw: Oh! Hahaha…. It is just like 2010 election.
Mi Sein Tin: how is the election and electricity related?
Mi Chaw: Well… We are forced to vote for generals but we cannot get democracy. We are just at the same situation as before.
Mi Sein Tin: Oh! Which one is coming first, democracy or electricity??
